In January 2026, SABER-1 completed its first load-out and float-off operation for the Jack-up Barge Vahana Arjun at Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City for Eversendai. The vessel owners commended the operation as one of the safest and smoothest they had experienced and formally recognised ASMEF with an award for its successful execution.
We are delighted to share that SABER-1 has successfully delivered a series of significant operations across key locations in the UAE, following its landmark ABS approval.
In January 2026, SABER-1 completed its first load-out and float-off operation for the Jack-up Barge Vahana Arjun at Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City for Eversendai. The vessel owners commended the operation as one of the safe stand smoothest they had experienced and formally recognised ASMEF with an award for its successful execution.
Building on this success, SABER-1 also delivered the load-out and float-off of two desalination barges (9,000 tons each) at KhalifaPort, constructed for Abu Dhabi Ports by Safeen Drydocks—further demonstrating its ability to handle multiple complex heavy-lift and semi-submersible operations efficiently.
At the time, no other floating dock or semi-submersible barge within the UAE was capable of performing such activities, reinforcing the strategic value of SABER-1 and our continued commitment to advancing in-country capabilities.
